Improvements to YarnSub
Superwash awareness
Superwash treatment makes a difference not only to the washability, but also to the softness, memory and even drape of a wool yarn. So we've changed the YarnSub matching engine to give a higher similarity rating when two superwash-treated yarns are compared, as opposed to a superwash and a non-superwash.
Practically speaking, this means that if you're looking for substitutes for a superwash yarn, other superwash yarns show highest in the list of substitutes offered, and vice versa for non-superwash. Gauge and texture and fiber characteristics are all still taken into account of course.
We've also added substitution notes when a superwash yarn is offered as a substitute for a non-superwash yarn, and vice versa:

superwash wool, so it isn't suitable for a felting project.
More intuitive searches
The search function has also been improved, so you don't need to use quotes when looking for yarns with a certain percentage of a fiber. It also now recognizes common typos - like I only seem able to type 'merion', instead of 'merino', for instance!
